Our vision
Gloucester Community Church has a vision for a church that will make a difference in the heart of the nation. We aim to do this by focusing on four particular priorities:
Loving God
This is central to the aspirations of those who make up Gloucester Community Church. We want to give him the best of the time and energy that we have available to make him known and bring him glory in whatever we are doing.
Loving one another
We are convinced that one of the greatest needs in 21st century urban society is to build strong, supportive communities. God has been building such communities ever since he created men and women! We believe he wants to build another one across Gloucester.
Loving those who don't know Jesus yet
Jesus' final command was to "go and make disciples". Gloucester Community Church does this with energy and vigour building a church that prioritises reaching others with the good news of Christ.
Going to the nations
Gloucester Community Church will focus on helping others find their place in God's great plans for the world and equip and resource them as they serve Christ across the UK and the nations of the world. We strive to be a church that sends people to serve in many other nations, in church-planting, aid and development.
We currently support Stuart and Lesley Taylor, working in education in the Far East. Julian and Caroline Lott, who work in development in Malawi, and Harry and Carol Blagden, working with Operation Mobilisation in Cambodia.
